Zeller Associates Group was founded in 1997 by Dr Harald Zeller and Captain Richard Chalhoub and is fully owned by its senior managers in the form of a partnership (associates). Its Head office is in Hamburg/ Germany, situated in the Kreuzfahrtcenter on the river Elbe. Within the Group various services are offered, which can be amalgamated together or provided on an independent basis, depending on the needs of the client.

These international offices provide the same services as the Head office, but do so with local expertise. According to our clients' needs, services can be provided in English, German, French, Danish, Russian, Ukrainian, Estonian, Italian, Spanish, Greek and Arabic.

Currently the Group employs abt. 75 staff worldwide coming from varied professional and educational backgrounds. Through this staff many years of experience have been acquired in the areas in which the Group provides services. In addition to this the staff members' long term business relationships have led to an established network of associate companies, whose further even more specialised services and expertise is called upon when needed.

Employees backgrounds range from Insurance and Re-Insurance Specialists, Master Mariners (with full valid seagoing licences), Naval Architects, Management to Banking and Law (with varying jurisdictions)

From the Head office, it is possible to overlook the container ports and also the city of Hamburg itself. As the view from the upstairs of the conference room (on the left) shows, the dry docks and the bustling Elbe are visible along with the first container terminals further round to the right.

The Group today is active in 6 dimensional operational fields which are all represented by 100% group owned but individually staffed and managed daughter companies. These service sectors are as below.

The Group’s Holding is Zeller Associates GmbH, a fully licensed company of limited liability under German law and registered in the Hamburg Commercial Register under No. HRB 63847.

Apart from the Holding function and the provision of the Group’s general undertakings, Zeller Associates GmbH’s role is the design and packaging of services for our customers and the performance of all internal and external Risk Management tasks.

Zeller Associates GmbH is also the Group’s nucleus  and breeding ground for new activities (see under “News”).
